Dominic Barao

Founder & Lead Electrician

Dominic began his electrician apprenticeship at 19, training at Bracknell College while working at ALP Electrical on commercial projects. He went on to work in facilities management in London, carrying out electrical maintenance, inspection and testing across major sites including hospitals, museums and government buildings.

Dominic returned to the local area in March 2022, focusing on domestic electrical work — and hasn’t looked back.

Dominic Barao: NICEIC-Certified Founder & Lead Electrician

Dominic launched DB Electrical Services after more than a decade working across some of the UK’s most demanding electrical environments.

From commercial installations at Thames Water and Liverpool Street Crossrail, to large-scale maintenance at the Royal London Hospital, St Bart’s Hospital, the Natural History Museum and the Ministry of Defence — the foundations of this business were built on real-world experience.

Since opening, DB Electrical Services has grown steadily. A strong base of loyal domestic clients, repeat commercial work and word-of-mouth recommendations have driven that growth from day one.

The business continues to expand — with larger project work now firmly in the pipeline.

Luke Preston

Luke joined DB Electrical Services in early 2025.

Luke already brings a solid foundation to the team, having completed Level 2 and Level 3 Electrotechnical qualifications at Langley College. He is currently working towards his NVQ and AM2 qualifications.
Luke is often attending DB Electrical Services jobs independently and is often assisting on more complex installs and rewires alongside Dominic.
